Mrs. Piggle Wiggle

Today I went with my niece Sydnie on a field trip. I volunteered to chaperone Sydnie and her classmate Andrea. We went to the Childrens Theatre Company to watch a production of The Magic Mrs. Piggle Wiggle. I know the name seems pretty goofy but I was unexpectedly entertained. The show was really fun. The kids loved it too.
I don't get to spend a lot of one on one with Sydnie so it was nice to spend time with her. After the play we went to Como Park and ate lunch. After lunch the girls went to play with the other kids on the playground. I enjoyed seeing my niece in her element at school.
Also, I found out that Sydnie's class is doing projects of a country of their choice in South America. Sydnie chose Brazil. I talked to her teacher and she may have me come in and speak about the country from which I just returned. I am thinking about bringing in the maps that I have and a flag, some currency, and other souvenirs that I have accumulated over the years. I think it will be fun. We'll see I guess.
